Many floors are just in need of a little TLC. Old varnishes, paint and carpet adhesives can be removed and successive treatments applied which will penetrate through years of grime and give a lustrous finish. Loose tiles can be carefully lifted and re-set on a strengthened base and raised tiles from previous restorations can be removed and re-laid at the correct level. In the worst cases, where the subfloor is beyond repair it may be possible to carefully remove the tiles and re-set them on a new base.
